Andrii Mykula

Andrii Mykula is a young professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Information Management (received in 2024). Growing up in a small city in Western Ukraine and being a part of a huge community of local volunteers after moving to Poland, they felt a strong connection to young people and how WE shape the reality. After taking part in multiple training courses across Europe through Erasmus+, volunteering at the UA - PL border in 2022–2023, being part of superb programs such as Leopolis For Future that are changing the future of Ukraine’s youth, they discovered a passion to help those in need through youth work. Succeeding in this, they spent a year working with a youth organisation in Spain through European Solidarity Corps to understand the needs on a global scale. Currently, Andrii is based in the United Kingdom, working as a Teaching Assistant in a special educational center with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, in addition to being an “As and When” Junior Youth Worker with a youth organisation based in Somerset. Andrii helps to run youth clubs, conducts Detached Youth Sessions and works diligently to assure the best practices in the professional field. Andrii believes in a society without prejudice, where every human being is treated with respect and kindness. They strive to provide the highest quality of skills through their knowledge. Andrii goes with every possible pronoun, he/they are preferred. No type of discrimination goes beyond their point.
