Joel Beckman

Joel Beckman

Co-Founder, Greenbriar Equity Group; Co-Chair, Friends of JCC Budapest

Joel Beckman co-founded Greenbriar Equity Group, a private investment firm, in 1999. Before that, he was a Managing Director and Partner at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Beckman received his JD from Yale Law School and his BA from the University of Rochester, where he is a Senior Trustee. Joel Beckman is currently a board member of Westchester Jewish Community Services, co-chair of Friends of JCC Budapest and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Yale Law School Center for the Study of Corporate Law. He previously served as a director of the UJA-Federation of New York, Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, the Chordoma Foundation, SteppingStone Day School and several other philanthropic organizations.
